A Genuine opportunity to build yourself a Better, Brighter future!

Team 40 all stars

In September 2012 a team of young adults volunteered as part of RV Projects to renovate a kindergarten in Romania.

What’s It All About?
RV Projects stands for ‘real volunteers’ it has been providing opportunities such as refurbishment projects and youth exchanges around the UK and Europe to young adults since 2008. An RV Projects programme focuses upon the growth of each individual volunteer with an emphasis placed upon the development of self, others and the team. Each project consists of 3 phases, phase 1 focuses on team building and preparation for our European project. Phase 2 consists of a two week community based project in Europe. Phase 3 focuses on reviewing the programme to cement individual learning and development as well as sharing the experience. The whole programme is underpinned by a portfolio providing the volunteer with a nationally recognised qualification.

‘Team 40 All Stars’ came together in September 2012, our aim was to complete a renovation project in Romania. The first phase of our project saw us attend weekly meetings that allowed team members to participate in workshops and team building exercises designed to break down the barriers and begin the all important relationship building that would enable us to become an effective working team. This included portfolio work, fundraising and a 4 day residential.
